MSO is a small but friendly conducted orchestra. There is no minimum standard and it is open to children string players of all abilities.
Members can be beginners who learn to play at school and wish to dust down their instrument, learners who have been playing for at least one year and are looking for a supportive environment in which to practise their new skills or already accomplished string players looking for a friendly local group to play in.
We meet weekly during holiday-time and hold one or two informal concerts a year.
